What's a blue whale?

Okay, little buddy, imagine the biggest toy in your toy box. Now, make it even bigger, as big as a house! That's how big a blue whale is! A blue whale is the biggest animal in the whole wide world.

It's like a giant swimming in the ocean, and it's blue, like the sky or the ocean. Even though it's super big, it eats tiny little sea creatures called krill. Just like you might eat a bowl of cereal, the blue whale slurps up krill for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

And guess what? Even though they're huge, blue whales are gentle giants. They don't want to hurt anybody. They just swim around and sing songs in the sea. Isn’t that cool? 🐳
